We actually didn't have internet for the majority of the day, which was just AWFUL. Gave us plenty of time to work, of course, but you can only rewatch old Simpsons episodes on DVD so many times! Nah, just kidding, they never get old. During the downtime, I started to replay Fallout New Vegas in preparation for Fallout 4. Not having internet for the day basically put me at a stopping point where I couldn't download any more mods for the game and would actually have to PLAY the damn thing. I never attempted New Vegas as a female character, so I made one. Since almost every default hairstyle was ugly, though, I ended up just making Furiosa from Mad Max: Fury Road.
In Splatoon news, I'm now at level 18 online. I'm starting to get to a point where I have EVERY WEAPON EVER unlocked, single player AND multiplayer. I'm kinda sad. I like unlocking stuff! Hopefully, more free DLC will be inbound soon. I think once I'm at lvl 20, though, I'm going to abandon splat zones for a bit. It's far too common that I'll consistently have the highest kills out of anyone in the match (enemy team included), but still be dragged into a loss by the rest of my team. And losing ranks because your team is shit just isn't any fun. Not that it's their fault every time (I consider myself a fairly modest man and can admit my faults), but man, Brad "Squid God" Brown can't carry the team EVERY damn time.
