We're going to need a nice, happy, light-hearted chapter after all this shit.

So, I haven't even touched Metal Gear Solid V since I've beaten up. I never thought I'd see the day when I'd find a Metal Gear game, especially THIS one that I've been so excited for, and not have any urge to replay it. Ever. I beat the game at 79% completion and despite being a completionist for all my games, I just don't have the will to 100% complete this game. It's amazing how such a shitty twist can put such a damper on the game. Well, I guess it's not just that. The game itself is repetitive beyond even Ubisoft open world standards. The world just kind of feels lifeless and boring. All the freedom in the world means nothing when all of your enemies are decked out in swat gear and most of your guns are just derivatives of each other. FOBs are poorly implemented, Mother Base offers nothing of any interest post-game, and boy I hope you like clearing mines and tank units because other than replaying story ops, that's all you get. There's not even any cool unlockables or easter eggs. At best, you can unlock Raiden, which you could already do in like, twenty minutes in Ground Zeroes. What a fucking shame 5 years and 80 million dollars produced this.

Anyways, Undertale looks like a really cool and clever RPG. Will probably pick that up soon. I need something to fill the weird, sad void that MGSV was supposed to fill. That and Lisa, I need to catch up on my Earthbound-esque western RPGs.

SEE YOU ON FRIDAY.
